The Weather Can Be Wild . . .
With the recent wild weather and storms I thought this would be a good time to share some picture books about the weather. Here's a few of our favorites . . . .
One windy day, House’s hat blows clean off his head! His friends are happy to help, but nothing they try seems quite right. Then the wind gets even stronger and thunder rumbles, making House wonder how he can keep his family safe and if he’ll ever feel quite like himself again.
A little cloud becomes all sorts of things--sheep, an airplane, trees, a hat--before joining other clouds and raining.

A World of Magic
This week, I'm sharing magical books for teens. All of these books include magic within the story. Check out these books . . .
In a world where everyone takes wonders like magic spells and dragons for granted, Coco is a girl with a simple dream: She wants to be a witch. But everybody knows magicians are born, not made, and Coco was not born with a gift for magic. Resigned to her un-magical life, Coco is about to give up on her dream to become a witch...until the day she meets Qifrey, a mysterious, traveling magician.
