Want to give someone a hug?  Just ask them.  Many people love hugs -- but not Doug!  Doug does not like hugs.  He thinks they're too squishy and smushy.  

This is a great book to remind us that not everyone wants a hug.  Sometimes it is better to say hello, shake hands, or give a high five instead.
